A fine tribute to the late Ray Malmström, compiled by those who knew him best, members of his Impington Village College Model Aeroplane Club.
Ray produced an incredible number of designs during his lifetime, mostly model aeroplanes, but also boats, racing cars and other whimsical oddities.
Although many of his models were novel sport flyers, including gliders, free flight and control-line types, among them were various scale and semi-scale designs, including the 1912 Avro F, 1913 Eastbourne Monoplane, and 1930s Avro 504K.
Although most projects are for rubber power, some are for small engines, CO2 and Jetex.
Featured in the book are 40 construction plans, numerous photos (some in color) of Ray and his models, and some of his clever cartoons. We enthusiastically recommend this quality publication!
